Christian Louboutin pumps

2007-11-08 12:53:00
There is nothing more gorgeous than a pair of black pumps from Christian Louboutin. M-mmmm! Gorgeous! The red sole seems to be driving most women completely crazy. I don't think that without this whole Sex and the City mania women would have been as crazy about shoes as they are right now. Well, I guess it doesn't really matter any more. The shoes are here and they are here to stay! And while we are at it we can observe some of the celebrities really enjoying their Louboutins.Angelina JolieChristina AguileraNicole RichieMary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Christian Louboutin graffiti pumps

2007-11-07 10:11:00
Christian Louboutin Clichy Painted pumps $650. Leave it to Christian Louboutin to come up with such a vivacious shoe if shoes could have personalities (some might argue they do). The graffiti print is playful, but the 4 inch heel and almond-shaped toe make it delicate and sexy. As the holidays are coming closer, these would be the perfect to accompany you to any event, liven up any LBD of yours as well as your mood in the drabness of winter.

Black frill ankle boots from Miss Selfridge
miss_selfridge_frill.jpg
These shapely ankle boots are close to ankle boot perfection as you can get, to my mind, so the addition of the pretty frill edging has really tipped me over the edge in my admiration for them. The fabric is black suede, which is a definite look to go for this winter, and their gentle slopes and points lends them that ever so fashionable neo-Victorian look, too.

Melissa t-bar wedges from Topshop

Take a close look at the shoes you see before you. Nice, aren't they? Everything from the curved wedge heels to the little peep toe and the shiny black patent... but wait. That's not actually patent,

Forever 21 Fringe Platform Stilettos
forever21_tasselfringeplatforms.jpg
I, like many others this season, am currently going through an obsession with fringing and tassels. Put it down to Gucci or Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain - or how about Erin Wasson or Kylie Minogue? - but whatever it is, we want to be part of it.

Georgina Goodman 'Agatha' peep toe slingbacks
georgina goodman.jpg
If you like your shoes high, high end and distinctive, you're bound to approve of these peep toe slingbacks by Georgina Goodman. I like what they've done with the elasticated strands here, which put me in mind of a harp, or some other musical instrument, which would certainly add a certain romanticism to your look! A true statement shoe, they'd look their best contrasted on sheer tights. £335 at My Wardrobe

Beyond Skin 'Amelia' vintage-inspired courts
beyond skin amelia.jpg
Beyond Skin just keep on churning out shoes that are absolutely spot-on for the season, but somehow manage to retain the label's quirkiness and character. The staunchly ethical label has really come up trumps with these 'Amelia' lace-up courts, which are a blend of patent faux-leather and hemp, with a gorgeous contrasting red panel; a theme that features in much of its winter 08/09 range and is one I heartily approve of! £158 at Equa

Just a little something to whet your appetite... This is a small part of what you can expect from Topshop's Spring/Summer 09 collection - shoes, glorious statement-making shoes. Also keep an eye out for their studded boots a la Chloe (Disney Rollergirl has the snaps) and a bit of a Louis Vuitton tribal influence too (Susie Bubble captured those).

Futuristic wedges by Walter Steiger

These shoes and boots by Walter Steiger look like they stepped right out of a science fiction movie from the 1960s, and for that reason alone, their appeal probably won't be universal. I'm not sure I'd wear
